Baldur’s Gate 3
Baldur’s Gate 3 is a sprawling, cinematic RPG set in the Dungeons & Dragons universe, where every choice you make ripples throughout the world. After a mind-flayer parasite is planted in your brain, you must choose to either resist its corrupting influence or embrace its dark power to become a force of ultimate evil. The gameplay features turn-based combat that rewards tactical creativity, allowing you to use the environment—like shoving enemies off cliffs or igniting grease spills—to turn the tide of battle. As of early 2026, the game has been further enriched by Patch 8, its final major content update, which added 12 new subclasses (such as the Hexblade Warlock and Drunken Master Monk), a comprehensive Photo Mode, and full Crossplay support. Beyond the game, excitement is peaking this February following HBO’s official announcement of a live-action Baldur’s Gate series helmed by The Last of Us showrunner Craig Mazin.
