Set during the height of the early 1980s, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War serves as a direct sequel to the original Black Ops and pulls players into a web of global conspiracy and espionage. The single-player campaign introduces a custom protagonist, codenamed “Bell,” who joins forces with iconic series veterans Frank Woods, Alex Mason, and Jason Hudson to hunt down a shadowy Soviet spy known as Perseus. From the neon-soaked streets of East Berlin to the jungles of Vietnam, the narrative emphasizes player choice, offering branching dialogue and multiple endings that depend on the tactical decisions and moral allegiances formed throughout the mission.
