Forza Horizon 6 takes the celebrated open-world racing franchise to Japan, delivering the largest and most vertically dense map in the history of the series. Players start their journey as a tourist entering the Horizon Invitational, competing across diverse biomes that seamlessly blend the neon-lit, sprawling streets of stylized Tokyo—including iconic landmarks like Shibuya Crossing—with rural villages, winding mountain passes, and the snowy tracks of the Japanese Alps. The game celebrates authentic Japanese car culture with a massive launch roster of over 550 vehicles, introducing heavy JDM classics, deep performance customization, Touge battles, and specialized features like the ability to apply liveries to windows and select mismatched front/rear rims. Built on an upgraded ForzaTech engine, it utilizes next-gen ray-traced global illumination and multi-frame generation to act as a visual benchmark, paired with a dynamic four-season weather system that even offers year-round snow in alpine regions. Outside of racing, players can progress through colored wristbands to unlock late-game hubs like “Legend Island” or dive into “The Estate,” a customizable mountain valley sandbox where you can build structures and share garage layouts with the community.
