Cyberpunk 2077
As of May 2026, Cyberpunk 2077 has transitioned from its redemption arc into a “legacy” phase. CD Projekt Red has officially ceased major content development for the first game to focus on The Witcher 4 and the upcoming sequel, Cyberpunk 2 (formerly codenamed Project Orion). However, the game remains a technical benchmark, recently receiving a free PlayStation 5 Pro upgrade in April 2026 that introduces PSSR (PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution) and enhanced ray tracing.
For PC players, the Ultimate Edition—which bundles the base game with the Phantom Liberty expansion—is now the standard version. It is currently at its most stable and feature-complete state (Version 2.31), including a revamped police system, vehicle combat, and the complete overhaul of the perk trees.
PC System Requirements (2026 Update)
The requirements have shifted slightly since the 2.0 update to account for the removal of HDD support and increased CPU demands in dense areas like Dogtown.
