Killer Bean

Killer Bean is a highly stylized, fast-paced first-person and third-person action-adventure roguelike shooter developed and published solo by Killer Bean Studios LLC. Launched into Steam Early Access on June 8, 2026, the game expands the cult-classic animated universe into an interactive, unpredictable playground. Players assume the role of Killer Bean, a rogue, dual-wielding assassin coffee bean tasked with systematically hunting down the shadow agency that betrayed him, dismantling enemy operations one bullet at a time.

The game’s standout mechanic is its fully procedurally generated campaign. Every time a player starts a new run, the entire story, faction alliances, mission layouts, locations, and boss configurations are completely randomized, ensuring that no two playthroughs are identical. Across procedurally generated open-world islands featuring diverse biomes, players face off against rival factions like the Bad Beans, Mercenaries, Pirate Commandos, and Shadow Troops. Boasting over-the-top ragdoll physics, dynamic vehicular combat (including cars, aircraft, and mechs), and unlockable randomized weapon skills, the sandbox thrives on ridiculous, cinematic action. The developer intends to keep the game in Early Access for roughly two years to actively roll out major bimonthly content updates, including upcoming 4-player online co-op modes, additional biomes, and expanded customizable options.
