Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced
Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is a ground-up remake of the beloved 2013 action-adventure title, developed primarily by Ubisoft Singapore and released on July 9, 2026. Built entirely from scratch on the latest iteration of the Ubisoft Anvil engine, the game contains no legacy code and leverages next-gen tech like ray-traced lighting, physically based rendering, and dynamic weather systems to bring its seamless Caribbean open world to life. Players once again step into the boots of pirate captain Edward Kenway during the Golden Age of Piracy, but the remake shifts away from modern RPG systems to emphasize a focused action-adventure loop. The core gameplay features overhauled parry-driven combat, manual crouching, back/side ejects for parkour, and heavily revised eavesdropping missions that no longer force instant desynchronization upon failure. Alongside visual overhauls, the game introduces narrative expansions focusing on figures like Blackbeard and Stede Bonnet, alongside mechanics like customizable HUD configurations, a dedicated photo mode, catchable ship pets, and three unique recruitable Jackdaw officers who feature their own companion storylines.
PC System Requirements
The remake drops support for older configurations, requiring modern multi-core processors, dedicated graphics hardware, and a mandatory Solid State Drive (SSD) to stream the open-ocean map assets effectively.
