Formula Legends
Released on September 18, 2025, Formula Legends is a stylized, “sim-cade” racing game from Italian developer 3DClouds (the team behind Hot Wheels Monster Trucks). It serves as a love letter to 60 years of open-wheel racing, taking players on a journey from the cigar-shaped cars of the 1960s to the complex hybrid beasts of the modern era. While the visuals are charmingly cartoony and the rosters use pun-filled fictional names (like Luis Hammerton and Mark Kettel), the gameplay is surprisingly deep, featuring tire wear, fuel management, and dynamic weather.
A major “Legacy Edition” physical release was recently announced for June 4, 2026, which will bundle the base game with 8 DLC packs, lithographs, and a poster for consoles.
