Released globally on August 5, 2025, this sequel to the hit 2021 arena fighter expands significantly on its predecessor. Developed by CyberConnect2, the game covers the Entertainment District, Swordsmith Village, and Hashira Training arcs, allowing players to relive the most intense moments of the anime with stunning, high-fidelity visuals. The roster has grown to include 40 playable characters, featuring new additions like Tengen Uzui, Mitsuri Kanroji, Muichiro Tokito, and even an “Infinity Castle” version of Giyu Tomioka as recent DLC. New to the sequel is the “Path of the Demon Slayer” mode—a roguelike-inspired challenge—and a “Mission Replay” feature that lets you jump back into specific battles from the first game.
