After years of anticipation, Pragmata finally launched on April 17, 2026. Capcom’s new sci-fi action-adventure is set on a deserted lunar research station where you play as Hugh, a mercenary in a high-tech spacesuit, and Diana, a mysterious android girl. The gameplay features a “dual-protagonist” combat system: Hugh handles the heavy firepower with energy-based weapons and a jetpack, while Diana provides tactical support through a real-time hacking matrix. The story explores themes of AI morality as the duo battles a hostile AI known as IDUS in an attempt to return to Earth.
Built on an advanced version of the RE Engine, the game is a visual showcase for 2026, utilizing full path tracing on PC to achieve cinematic, multi-bounce lighting and reflections.
